Palawan

Palawan is a popular island to visit and for great reason. Most people zip in and out of El Nido in the north, but I was lucky enough to have an extended experience traveling from Puerto Princessa up to El Nido, with a stops in Sabang and Port Barton. I highly recommend this itinerary. The best part is that it’s easy enough to find places to stay as you arrive in each location so if you fall in love with a place, you can stay a little longer.

Puerto Princessa and Sabang

Motorcycles and tuk tuks go buzzing by. Crossing the street is like being a game of Frogger.  The main strip in Princessa has a busy road, but  a number of cafes and restaurants making it easy to find a good place for food and drink.
